What we do

Every cup,
made with intent.

Four things we do here — and we do each one the way it deserves to be done. No shortcuts, no shortcuts, no WiFi.

Service 01

Pour-over
flights

Three brews, one sitting. Each flight puts a different single-origin bean through the same careful pour so you can taste how origin shapes a cup. Beans rotate weekly — roasted across the river, arriving here within days.

  • Single-origin beans, sourced fresh from a local roaster across the river
  • Three different origins in one flight — compare flavor profiles side by side
  • Weekly rotation keeps the menu alive for regulars who come back often

Service 02

Espresso
bar

Six counter seats and one barista who isn't in a rush. Pull up to the bar and watch your shot pull. Every espresso drink starts with the same care as the pour-overs — no corner-cutting, no syrup pumps unless you ask nicely.

  • Counter-side bar — watch the shot pull from six seats
  • Espresso pulled from the same single-origin beans we retail whole
  • No rush, no line pressure — every drink made at the right pace

Service 03

House
pastries

Our pastries come from the bakery two doors down on Alberta. They're baked in the morning and delivered while they're still warm. When they're gone, they're gone — another reason to come early and stay a while.

  • Sourced from a local bakery two doors down on NE Alberta St
  • Delivered fresh each morning — no day-old bakes behind the counter
  • Pairs with both espresso and pour-overs — ask what's in season
Come in early

Service 04

Whole-bean
retail

Take the same beans we pour every day home with you. We stock a rotating selection from the roaster across the river — always fresh, always clearly labeled with origin and roast date. No mystery bags.

  • The exact same beans we brew — no separate "retail-grade" stock
  • Roast date printed on every bag — you know exactly how fresh it is
  • Rotating single-origin selection — ask your barista what's on the shelf today

The ritual

How a visit
actually goes

No app, no loyalty card, no order kiosk. Just a short walk and a good cup.

01

Walk in off Alberta

We're on NE Alberta St — open every morning. Dog-friendly patio out front, six counter seats inside. No reservation needed.

02

Ask what's pouring

The barista at the counter knows what's on the board. Tell them how you like your coffee and they'll point you somewhere interesting.

03

Settle into a seat

There's no WiFi — by design. Bring a book, a friend, or nothing at all. Your drink comes when it's ready, not a second before.

04

Take some home

If a bean caught your attention, grab a bag off the shelf. Same origin, same roaster, labeled with the date it left the roastery.
